Who we are

Simba Vocabulary Builder is operated by Fatih Demir. In this policy, “Simba,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer and the Simba Vocabulary Builder mobile application.

Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@simbavocabulary.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information, such as your email address, display name, sign-in identifier, and authentication method.
  • Learning data, such as your language, level, goals, word decks, vocabulary content, practice progress, and preferences.
  • Device and app data, such as device identifiers, device model, country, app version, usage events, diagnostics, crash reports, and performance data.
  • Purchase and subscription status supplied by an app store or our subscription service provider.
  • Content you choose to submit, including support messages, images used for text recognition, and audio used by pronunciation features.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide learning and AI-assisted features, synchronize your progress, process subscriptions, show and measure advertising, send requested notifications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and improve Simba.

Microphone, camera, photo, and notification access is used only for the feature you choose and is subject to the permissions you grant on your device.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to operate the app, including Google Firebase for authentication, analytics, configuration, performance, and crash reporting; Google Mobile Ads and Meta App Events for advertising and measurement; RevenueCat and the applicable app store for purchases; and cloud hosting and AI providers for features you request.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide Simba, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud or abuse. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

After account deletion, limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may be retained when required for a legitimate purpose. Aggregated or de-identified analytics that can no longer identify you may also remain.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information, and may object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. You can change device permissions in system settings and advertising choices through the consent controls presented in the app.

To delete your account and associated data, use our account deletion page. To request deletion of specific data without deleting your account, use our data deletion page.

Children

Simba is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age in the user’s country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Simba or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
